Minn Kota MK on-board marine battery chargers are digitally controlled units engineered to protect batteries and provide faster, precise charging. The microprocessor-based design monitors temperature and state-of-charge to deliver multi-stage charging (bulk, absorption and maintenance), automatic temperature compensation, and automatic shut-off to extend battery life. Enhanced status codes provide comprehensive feedback on charge stage, maintenance mode, error notifications and full charge. Built with waterproof, shock- and vibration-resistant aluminum construction and saltwater-tested corrosion resistance, these chargers include short circuit, reverse polarity and ignition protection. Each unit ships pre-wired with fused output cables, an AC power cord, installation instructions and an owner’s manual. UL listed to marine standard 1236 and FCC compliant, Minn Kota MK chargers are intended for use with 12 or 24 volt systems with 12V/6-cell batteries (flooded/wet cell, maintenance-free, or AGM) and are backed by a 3-year warranty.
