The DAVIS INSTRUMENTS Shockles LineSnubber is a progressive-tension, shock-absorbing snubber designed to eliminate shock loads on dock, anchor, towing, boom preventer and tie-down lines. Constructed with a UV-resistant nylon cover sewn over an elastomer core and a patented internal stretch limiter, it delivers controlled, progressive tension to protect lines and hardware. Each end is fitted with a 316 stainless steel carabiner for secure attachment; one size fits lines up to 3/4" (19 mm). Optional Line Grabbers (Davis #2460) allow use with larger braided or twisted lines up to 1" (25 mm) and beyond. Common applications include docking, anchoring, towing and preventers, improving safety and line life.
