Life-Calk is a long-lasting, marine-grade polysulfide sealant supplied in a compact tube for easy application. It cures to a firm, flexible rubber seal with excellent waterproofing and adhesion qualities and is non-shrinking and permanently flexible. Ideal uses include bedding deck and hull hardware, sealing thru-hull fittings, teak decks and underwater seams. Life-Calk bonds to fiberglass, wood, metal, glass and itself, resists teak oils, gasoline and diesel fuel, and becomes tack-free in 1 to 3 days. It can be sanded and painted (not compatible with all paints; Sikkens, Cetol, Deks, Olje), and can be applied underwater or to damp surfaces for emergency repairs. WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Toluene which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
