The Uniden UMRMIC remote microphone serves as a wired second-station solution for the UM725 series marine VHF radios. Designed for marine use, it offers a large landscape-oriented full dot-matrix LCD with bright white backlight for day and selectable orange for night, providing clear readouts and full remote control of connected Uniden VHF radios. Key functions available across the product family include channel control, DSC Distress, NOAA weather channels with weather alerts, private text messaging over marine channels, and an intercom feature between the main radio and the remote microphone. The UMRMIC is IPX8 rated waterproof (submersible to 4.9 ft for 30 minutes) and is built of durable plastic. Each unit ships with a 24-foot inter-connect cable, microphone hanger and mounting hardware, and optional extension inter-connects are available up to 75 ft.
