1700 Series Water Heater 120v 12 Gallon With Engine Heat Exchanger. The 1700 Series provides hot water for galley and shower. Dense foam insulation gives superior heat retention. The tank is protected by a 75 PSI T&P relief valve and a glass-lined steel tank provides long life and high efficiency. The cylindrical tank design withstands more pressure. Heat exchanger models can connect to engine cooling for hot water underway or without generator power. The heat exchanger is coiled throughout the tank for rapid, efficient hot water delivery. Raritan water heaters use an ignition-protected thermostat (factory set to 120°F, adjustable 110°–160°F, safety shutoff at 190°F). Plumbing connections are on the same side for simplified installation. Hot and cold water connections: 3/4" male NPT. Heat exchanger connections: 3/4" female NPT.
