Self Etching Primer provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance to properly prepped steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Packaged in aerosol cans (15.5 oz / 20 oz references in sources), the primer is quick-drying and available in black, grey, and green. It is suitable for automotive and industrial use on bare steel and bare aluminum. Typical properties: 2-3 light coats, flash time 5-10 minutes between coats, top coat time 10-20 minutes. Features include excellent adhesion to steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, quick drying, matte finish, stain resistance, and coverage of approximately 40-50 square feet per can. Packaged options include gallons, quarts, and aerosols; the product is VOC compliant in bulk formats.
