DiTEC Polishing Compound - Heavy Cut - 32oz. This professional-grade heavy-cut polishing compound features a coarse, very homogeneous abrasive grain that delivers fast sanding performance and reliably removes scratches and P1500 sanding marks. Designed for use with rotating and dual-action polishers, it works on gelcoat and all fresh and cured paint systems, including scratch-resistant finishes. The formula is silicone- and solvent-free and appears as a liquid cream. Recommended polishing pads: DiTEC Yellow Trapez Foam polishing pad for general heavy cut; Gray Microfiber Pad (165 mm) for heavy oxidation or scratches; White Microfiber Pad (155 mm) for even heavier oxidation or scratches. Application: apply a sufficient amount to the polishing pad or painted surface, spread evenly at low speed (approx. 1000 rpm), increase to approx. 1800 rpm and polish off using light pressure. Safe for marine, RV, and automotive exterior surfaces.
